+++ A Hawaiian Perspective: In this past twentieth century, having been brought up by a grandmother who was fortunate to be among Her Majesties presents. She a women of deep conviction for her service to her gentle people, who were stricken with so much painful history as our Jewish Ohana for three millenniums. The Native Hawaiians, since the visitation of outsiders to our shores protected by the Grand Pacific Moat; have become the resilience of a noble culture to continually share her Aloha Spirit among these intruders. Kai Markell an expert photographer captures the magnificence of our last ruling Queen. She resembles the integrity of a continuing generation of our spiritual fortitude. Against a ghostly foe, that has laid their dominance; since their Judas Betrayal, to continually bastardizing our beloved culture: Since Jan. 17, 1893, Hawaiis outrage, to overthrow the Kingdom, that served them. She remains outside, facing the State Capitol on the Aliis walkway for which many of her ancestors and retinue lived: whereupon, the Royal Barracks used to be. Her back faces her painful past of her imprisonment. Her own royal chambers, she endures; from Ke Akuas Aloha, to penned, a most memorable musical composition. Sung still, in the many churches, throughout these lovely islands. Many know as the, Queens Prayer. She took the time to share her personal life of anguish and joys to the many children chosen to be at her side. My Tutuhine and Anake Piilani were honored in their early teens to listen as they became our Kupuna(s) to lead us in the way of Ke Akuas Aloha, for which the Queen insisted upon them. Prince Kuhio a young dashing prince whom she adored was indeed an obedient servant of Ke Akua to work within this troublesome situation to manage whatever native Hawaiians remained. She feared, but trusted that Ke Akua will maintain her peoples existence until all of the Wanana I Ke, were to be fulfilled according to His Beloved Words of Truth. She had impressed upon my grandmother and dear kolohe aunt to know, despite what has happened to us, Ke Akua is the true sovereign over these islands. Judas might have taken this from us, but Ke Akua has a far greater plan in stored, which is shortly coming soon...... My heart aches deeply in remembering my Tutuhine in her loving tears; promise that I would never bring this painful subject again, while she lived for Ke Akua Mana Loa me Ka Lokomaikai Aloha o Iesu Kristo ame Ka Uhane Hemolele. When I saw this photo by Kai Markell, titled Hiwahiwa, this has moved me than many others, of this Bronze Statue of, Her Majesty. He Kamahao, was how my Tutuhine, always addressed her. The Queen, preferred to be addressed, since the overthrow. She was considered not a ruler over her kingdom, but to her people she was He Kamahao. little did I know her fondest for my Tutuhine whose beauty she adored in her stately mannerisms, groomed by the royal courts, that went underground, but continued those royal practices, outside of Oahu. There is much to be said; about where this precious islands are heading, but I do know that Ke Akua, whose Aloha, has transpired our peoples tenacious spiritual attitude, to continue, as our Royal Familys striven for us to be Good Christians, while Ka Haku o na Haku o Iesu Kristo, who is our only Kahuna Nui i Ka Lani o Ke Akua Mana Loa, leads us. There is no other God by Him Alone the Ekolu Nui o Ke Akua. Onipaa was her dear motto, from her dear sister Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop Kamehameha ame Kuine Emmalani Kaleleokalani Kamehameha, she too remembers. This is our Tribute to a world stricken with evil! ALOHA KE AKUA * GOD IS LOVE is Foremost in our very existence! * MARANATHA * ALOHA!
