Excavator Operator/Truck Driver/Labourer An opportunity is now available in our vegetation sector for a motivated Excavator/Truck driver/Labourer to join our company on a casual basis with a view to permanent employment. In this role, your key duties will include: •Operating various size excavators (5t,12t,20t) stacking and feeding vegetation into a woodchipper using a grab. •Operating grooming head attachment •Pushing trees and stump removal •Driving and floating equipment to and from site •Operating various size chainsaws felling trees as required •Performing multi tasked labouring duties which may include, heavy lifting, dragging vegetation and feeding woodchippers, erecting silt fences, ground observer, chemical application, trimming and felling trees and other work as required •Working under various electrical networks •.Operating other machinery as required eg. Bobcat, Stumpgrinder, Roller To successfully secure this position the applicant must have the following: •Current excavator ticket •Current HR license •Minimum 3yrs experience operating excavator •Experience operating a grab •Minimum 3yrs experience working in vegetation industry •Minimum 3yrs experience driving trucks •Experience operating chainsaws •Experience felling trees - desirable •Cert 3 arboriculture - desirable •Tickets to work in the electrical industry - desirable •Blue card •Current resuscitation certificate - desirable •Current first aid certificate - desirable •Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team •Ability to problem solve and show initiative •Be enthusiastic and motivated and have a positive work attitude •Strong understanding and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety •Ability to fill in paperwork, read and follow instructions •Have your own transport Please send your cover letter and CV to [email protected] or post to 161 Fountain Rd Burpengary 4505 addressed to the Works Manager driverjobs.au
