‘I can’t find the control to the electric blanket, it’s up too high,’ I sobbed. That’s when I woke up, scared that I actually said that out loud! First of all, we haven’t had an electric blanket in YEARS, secondly, there was NO possible way I was sobbing in front of my wife about a hallucination I was having! Yes, that was how I felt, my legs did feel like they were wrapped in a blanket (even though they were not even under the ‘comforter’! ‘Comforter’! What a misnamed description! It’s either too warm or not warm enough! Now, before y’all get all ‘horrified’ and such, yes I am aware that MEN can cry (that’s what I heard, anyway) but this was SOBBING! Sobbing because of a bad dream! Now THAT is NOT what THIS man does ( ) But that was how hot it was yesterday, like spending time in an oven! Even my glasses of water weren’t refreshing when I drank them. But, anyway, I am home from church now, though my legs and feet still feel afire, but Praise God, they work well enough that I was able to stand and walk short distances to day!
