I nearly wept when i saw President Jonathan and his large entourage stood by and took picture with the man made statue of Elijah when Nigeria has many and better memorable statues of many past Heroes of ethnic Nationalities in Nigeria we can develop in order to attract Tourists from foreign countries too. The so called pilgrimage to Jerusalem can not attract more tourists than OSUN Festival in Oshogbo, Osun state if more resources are pumped into its development by Federal government because there are thousands of Tourists that have visited OSUN festival and testified to the healing powers of WATER taken from the OSUN river inside the groove, so why are we so adapted to foreign traditions and cultures that are alien to our moral values and good manners Nigerians were known for in those good olden days of our forefathers? It is high time we embraced the good traditional and cultural values God bestowed on us and forget about all these nonsense foreign religions that have continued to bring more sorrows and sufferings to the innocent and poor people that are being exploited by their Leaders in the name of going to paradise when they die of hunger in the midst of plenty due to bad governance and religious teachings of over two thousand years ago that have no relevance in our modern and sophisticated digital generation that is being driven by technology and sciences.
