[NEWS] Super Junior M at IDOLS OF ASIA [News] 140624 #SJM at Idols of Asia Title: Kyuhyun talks with his parents on the phone, like talking with his girlfriend. Super Junior-M (SJ-M) after the concert on Saturday, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Sungmin and Zhoumi stayed for two days in Taiwon to promote their third mini album “SWING”. They recently participated in recording of MTV’s “Idols of Asia”, and fulfilled their wants of Taiwanese cuisine. SJ-M answered some interesting questions from the host Ken Wu, and members were telling on each other. When asked who is the most clingy to his parents, all pointed at Kyuhyun. He shyly admits that, “I still kiss my parents every day on cheek to greet them. And I say I Love you to them when talking with them on the phone.” Ryeowook then said, “Every time he talks on the phone I thought he was chatting with his girlfriend, but he is very considerate like a daughter.” SJ-M also played many games in this show. Seven people were divided into two teams, the losing team had to drink the special made “juice” prepared by the winning team. As soon as they heard that they need to form teams, Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Sungmin quickly got together, said they were the ‘Dance team’, so Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Henry who didn’t have any other choice, spoke up and said they were the ‘Younger team’. First off is the “Random Dance Competition”. A song was played by the MC Ken Wu, two teams were to do the dance of the song. The seven people were in a flurry; and surprisely, Kyuhyun and Donghae kept falling behind on the beat, so the score were even on the first round. To determine which team was the winning one though, Kyuhyun and Donghae had to compete with each other on a game called ’ bright eyes and speedy hands’ which involves shields and toy hammers, When one wins, he can hit the other person with a toy hammer, the other has to defend himself with the shield. Donghae kept winning against Kyuhyun and used the toy hammer to hit Kyu’s head fiercely and quickly many times. And Kyuhyun didn’t have time to react and defend, so everyone on set were laughing. The second round was ‘I sing and you listen’. A staff who wore headphones and listening to songs from SJ-M would sing. Members were to guess the song titles. Even though the staff was tone deaf, Donghae from the “Dance team” was able to win this round for their team with his good ears. The ‘Younger team’ Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Henry were defeated completely. The production team had 6 kinds of juices for them, plum juice, tomato juice, guava juice, vegetable juice, strawberry milk tea, plum soup. Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Sungmin and Donghae were to make mixed drinks with these for Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Henry to enjoy. Unexpectedly members were prepared when they came. Zhou Mi took out a plastic bag from the cart that contained cans of vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, ketchup, sesame sauce and Japanese style salad dressing. Sungmin put in 5 spoonful of white vinegar to start it off, followed by the others who showed much generosity and no hesitation. They put in vegetable juice, soy sauce, sesame sauce, Japanese style salad dressing, ketchup and strawberry milk tea before stirring in the cup. The color of the mixed drink was dark yellowish/greenish. Quite awful looking. Henry immediately said he had been sick, saying, “I have allergies, so I cannot drink this. You can ask Kyuhyun and Ryeowook to do Rock-paper-scissors and the person who lose can drink it.” The two of course didn’t buy that and forced Henry to do Rock-paper-scissors with them. At the end Henry was lost. Even though he kept saying he was tricked, but still admitted the result and drank the juice bravely after smelling it abit with a disgusted expression. When asked by Ken about the taste of the drink, Henry replied, ‘It tasted like hot pot which had been left sitting there for a week.” Ken then took a sip and said, “All of the sauces are dispersed in my mouth, so terrible.” Eng Tran: @ siohappy
