*Pause and Ponder* Glory David POST LEARNING IN DIFFICULT PLACES... And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer. 1Sam. 16:21 Does it not surprise you sometimes how God works? After David was anointed to be king in his father’s house, his first posting was to go and learn under an already spiritually deposed king Saul. You wonder, “ what is there to learn from someone that God is deposing?” So you think! Moses was a man of faithfulness in God’s house, whom God spoke to face to face, who received instruction directly from God for a whole nation and yet God would not teach him how to administer. Rather it took his father-in -law Jethro to teach him the principles of delegation in administration. Ex. 18:13-27 What a God of wonder! So beloved don’t despise some of your secular education or whatever place you are in now serving or learning. A few things may be useful for you later on in your life and ministry. Under Saul it was important for David to learn what not to do as a king. The Lord sometimes teaches us how to manage failure before giving us the responsibility of success. May you never be weary of learning all you need to learn for your destiny assignment in Christ Jesus Name.
