”Que Sera, Sera.” (“...Whatever will be, will be...”), a song first published in 1956 and popularized by Doris Day in a movie. This same type of mindset exists among many in the church who believe, “God is in control.”. I knew a certain religious group who believed any “...event...” in their life, good or bad, was “...ordained...” to happen. For example, if they fell down and broke their leg, they would say, “Thank goodness that’s over.”. Any of these types of mindsets fall short of the holy will of God! Our God does not impose His will on us! It is His will for all men to be saved (John 3:16). However, men must “...call on Jesus...” in order to be saved (Romans 10:13-27). God presents His will to whomsoever, but there is a supernatural principle of the kingdom involved for a person to actually “...know...” the will of God. Our heart must be willing to do the will of God as a prerequisite to actually “...knowing...” the will of God (John 7:17). The only way we would be willing to do His will before we know His will is because we know Him! Just imagine the will of God being done on earth as it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:9-13)!!!
