#Russia BIG RISK: ADMINISTRATION MAY BE GOADED INTO CATASTROPHIC WAR BY OPPOSITION Donald Rumsfeld and the RNC have came out on the attack against the President, but for now President Obama is keeping his eye on the ball. Obama says he is much more concerned about the possibility of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan than about the Russians in Crimea. In this he is correct, and I would go further: The Russians should be MUCH more worried about a bomb going off in Moscow than about Crimea. The Russians have multiple nations to their south which are hotbeds for terrorist activity (former Soviet Republics such as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and near Russian countries Pakistan and Afghanistan) so while they worry about Crimea (which isnt going anywhere, it is a mostly retired Russian military hang out!) is Russia watching the stans? Domestic terrorism and terrorism from former Republics is a real danger now. The slow and old bureaucracy in Belgium is not a fast moving threat that may kill Russians tomorrow. I would challenge the Russians to remember the horror of Beslan school. Is their memory so short? (if you are not familiar do a search but I suggest you dont search for images unless you want your stomach turned) Those who would goad this administration to war should remember the damage done to us by a decade of adventure abroad, and for once be responsible Americans. President Obama is wise to resist the call to rash action BUT he has a long history of caving to the opposition.
