...... good morning #Nigeria! Just waking up and the first news I see is the Dollarization of our national conscience. Disturbing as this rightly is, I must be truthful to tell us that, that is what we have truly become; a nation whose conscience can be swayed by money. I have in the last few weeks worked tirelessly to do a voter education series in the hope of changing peoples paragigm towards asking critical questoons of those seeking to lead Nigeria and not be carried away (as it was in 2011) by every wind of sentiment. Let me state clearly here, that Dollarization, criminalization and impunity are all elements of a democracy. Bad as it is, it is what a peoples government demands, which would not have sufficed in a government of a people who fear God. But, I see a commendable difference happening at the #apc convention in #Lagos, with the resolve of the people (even if that resolve also includes a change of currency from #Dollar to #Naira), to do right. We must set a good example for the nation! An example that those who bring the past impunity and disrespect to bear upon our lives shall not be rewarded with victory. I have spent my time during this process being very impartial to all aspirants, but now I must state, that for the benefit of our national conscience and the hope of setting a good exampke for our people, dollars or money or cheating must not be rewarded with victory! If we fail to do the right thing now, we will never have the opportunity to undo the error. #TrueChange is in you.
