..one day at a time dear jesus .....thats all lm asking of you.. ..just give me the strength.. .....to do every day.. ..What l have to do.... ....no l havent cracked up..l thought l would have a complete change from Gold fm to something a bit more relaxing, as me and Tye whittle away the long cold everlasting night, anyway at my age l thought it appropriate.....l was talking to an old friend a few days ago reminiscing as you do do, and l thought l give the older members a task..we were talking about the older pubs in Burton..long gone of cause, and we named quite a few, but we couldnt agree on one in high st, Bargates end.. before Bargates was built..so the year is the 60s. and the only clue l can give you is they had a monkey in the bar, or was it a cockatoo or even both...well does any one remember.....?
