#repost Year 2000 was 14 years ago. A 14 year old has no idea of how things were in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. I felt it was important to educate the youth through my story. I made it attractive to them. I wanted them to read it and get excited about the things they can identify with, and see that nothing is really new, however, things are just amended over time. I want the young people to be afraid to try things. I want them to ask those serious questions after they read my novel. I want them aware.
