Sari Diplomacy When Nawaz Sharif gifted a white sari to Modis mother, the PM thanked his Pakistani counterpart and took to Twitter to announce this. Earlier, the PM had gifted a shawl to Sharifs mother during latters visit to India. PM Modis mother Hiraba looks at the sari sent for her by Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif as a gift, in Gandhinagar. Modi 2.0 In a surprise praise for the PM, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said Modi was looking to turn himself from a hate figure into an avatar of modernity and progress. We should acknowledge that this may be the evolution of Modi 2.0 but if Modi 1.0 re-emerges, then we will robustly oppose him, Tharoor said. Modi on board INS Vikaramaditya In his first domestic outing, after taking charge as the PM, Modi visited Indias largest warship, INS Vikramaditya, in Goa.
