(Old head on young shoulders) 15.2h 4y Grey Gelding Fully registered Connemara Paddy is a horse that you very rarely see for sale,He has the most amazing temperament and is really honest and polite in every way. He can be handled by literally anyone from a non horsey mother to tiny children. He is excellent to lead,catch,bath,plait (stands like a rock) Excellent to mount from a mounting block,from the floor or a leg up. Really good around children he is not phased by them running round him or playing on there bikes. Hes happy to be groomed by the kids and for them to pick his feet out Dressage: (snaffle mouth at all times) He is on the steady side of medium to ride. Not sharp but not lazy either. He is responsive off the leg with out shooting forward but at the same time he doesnt rush. Paddy is very well established and balanced for his age. He is ready to start competing BD now and work his way up through the grades. He adapts to what ever rider is on his back with a competent jockey he goes like a well established dressage horse and with a novice he will happily go very steady and slow. His canter is steady,balanced and consistent. He doesnt pull or rush he just stays is a steady rhythmical pace. Eventing: Paddy will be a fantastic eventer. Hes versatile and excellent in all 3 phases. He is brave Xc but not strong or silly. Hes is bold showjumping again with a level head. His flat work is calm and elevated. Ready to start some BE80s now. Show jumping: Paddy shows a lot of scope and we see him being a show jumper.he is currently schooling courses of 1m but jumping them like there 110m hes very clean and tidy over a fence. He comes in to the fences in a steady rhythmical manner and has the most impressive technique when he gets there. Hes sure to be admired at shows. And will do very well going up the grades BS. Open spaces/traffic. Paddy is fantastic in open spaces he doesnt light up or get strong or silly. He is a confidant chap who is happy to go out alone both trough the forests,across fields and in every traffic. He happily crosses the A47 and doesnt worry about buses,lorry,tractors or trailers. Paddy is also great to hack out incompany. He will go in any position up front,middle or back. He will canter upfront and lead others or will follow behind with out being strong or silly. (Washing line rains he is safe) Riding club & pony club: Paddy would be a fantastic horse for all PC activities. Hes versatile and excels in all 3 disciplines. He is the perfect horse to take to camp because of his polite easy to work with quiet temperament. Ridden by a novice: Paddy has been ridden in the school by my novice 9y old son. He was very polite and new he had little legs on him so he steadied the pace and really looked after him. Soundness/vice free He is 1001% a sound and correct mover.He moves straight and has no dishing or twisted limbs. His feet are strong and all 4 match. He has no sarcoids or scars. No itchs or allergies. He has no stable vices. Does NOT wind suck,weave,box walk,crib. This horse is a dream in everyway.
