07/03/2014 DAILY SPRING: TOPIC: GOD IS OUR HELPER IN TROUBLE TEXT: Psa 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Psa 46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. Troubles of life are inevitable; they come in different forms, time and season. Every trouble that comes to us as children of God is not to disgrace us but to strength, shape and cause our faith to grow. However, we need the Spirit of discernment to recognize, analyze and appreciate the troubles that comes our way. This will enable us distinguish the trouble that have come to promote or destroy us; hence, it will give us insight of how how to approach them accordingly. Our knowledge of God is of great importance in approaching every issue that comes up in our lives. Sometimes, we need not to pray concerning an issue but to praise and worship God at that period; in some situation, we just need to be calm and listen to what He is saying or the direction He wants us to take. Beloved, God is our refuge and strength and a very present help in trouble. We need awareness to that effect and walk in that consciousness every moment of our lives as children of God by Christ Jesus. He will never abandon you in the midst of trouble or bring you thus far and turn His back at you. Whatever challenge or trial you are facing now and you have prayed all manner of prayers; I implore you to change your style by praising and worshiping Him as the Almighty God, because nothing can prevail against Him. You shall not be consumed in that matter, but you are coming out victoriously; this will make your person and life a testimonial. HALLELUJAH! PRAYER: Psa 48:9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. Psa 48:10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
