10/1-2015 South Africa Another early start, another run to the DC, see Hans still going strong. Today we were going wreck diving - do I need to mention this is on of my favorite under water pleasure? But first we had to instal my son Bayu. As a Jr. Advance wanna be, his max depth is 21 meter, so no diving for him today. Or just excellent planning from our side since Loraine our office manager hasnt had a day off like in forever. So Bayu was put in charge of the booking office all on his own. He is 14 years old, and we all know children labor is cheap - so why not? We went to Produce wreck, a boat ride on 25 minutes. The wreck is laying from 14-35 meter. It was a Norwegian cargo ship that sank in 1974 by hitting the reef, wonder if he was drunk Camilla?. It was an amazing dive, the vis wasnt the best in the world today, but hey its a wreck. Of marine life we saw a Natal Catfish who wants to be a shark when it grows up and then they others saw a big school of Daga salmon with sushi enough for a brunch or 10 at Nikki Beach. Also there was some Brindle bass, they get up to 400 kg. with a length og 2,7 meters. Ok must admit I didnt see a lot of marine life, I was so focused on all the new penetration possibilities, there was so many holes that even Alex would have been amazed - guess Ill get you here Alex when we need to name them all - or not? The bow and the stern of the 168 meter long wreck is still pretty intact, the mid is gone. Back to the DC after 2 stunning dives, still home around lunch time, I really enjoy the time schedule here. In the mean time Bayu had managed to sell 2 Dsds and 2 Bubble makers for Tuesday, pretty cool except it means we will have a pool day instead of explore more dive sites :-) on the great side, it will keep James and Andre away from the street corners for a while. After a nice lunch it was time for Supermarked quality time - seriously Im wordless, even just got back from Vegas a month ago, Ive never seen so much nice and cheap food in one place, hmm might really consider moving here. Ending wondering around for hours well equipped with a big bag of Biltong (dried meat) as a snack. Isnt it cool when you stay so long in a Supermarked that you need to have food with you? Or is that just me? So tonight is BBQ again :-) love it - and its so relaxing, with 5 boys that do all the grilling - all I had to do was the salads, the cheese, the veggies, the bread, the dish washing - so as a famous Danish comedian once said : its dad who makes the BBQ, right Else? One thing I must also remember to tell, here we dont talk about if the glass is half full or half empty - it will never happen either way - cheers Lets see what tomorrow morning dives bring?
