10/24/13. Well, today was kind of tough as 1 yr ago today, Timothy was diagnosed with Leukemia, changing our lives forever. We were each emotional in different ways, I couldnt stop thinking about what this last year has been like & about. We Praise God that Timothy is still in remission & cancer free & that his BMT has been a success. As we spent the day in clinic regarding issues from chemo & radiation related effects to his body, we still are thankful to Him for being with us ALL along & we know He will continue to be there with us!! So very thankful for the many friends we have gained through this journey, although its hard realizing Childhood Cancer is NOT rare, but I love this Mommas & we are always there for one another. And we are so thankful to the ones that are Advocates & Supporters because they have felt led to help & of course from our family & friends that have been so helpful & loving. We did have a good day, so no complaining from us. Timothys Plasma Pheresis procedure went well & he goes on Monday & will be on once a week & close to being done with those treatments! Yay! His ECHO was done today & I received notice from the Nurse Practitioner this evening that there is still a very small amount of fluid around the heart & a small missed beat, but that nothing has changed since the last ECHO in September! His Hemoglobin has come up to 9.2 thankfully since starting the injections of Darbipoeten & his platelets at 125, which is all good. His Creatinine is even higher today, BUN, Phosporus, etc. :( We may be meeting with the Renal Dr. before his appt on the 4th, but we will see. Timothy still has his good attitude, he is amazing & our true Hero!!!! Thank you ALL so very much for the continued love, thoughts & Prayers!!!!
