10 WORST TRADES MADE MY TORONTO SINCE IVE BEEN WATCHING HOCKEY 80 1.. recieve D Tom Kurvers a nobody from NJ for 1st pick in 91,,,(NIEDERMAYER) 2...recieve G Andrew Raycroft from BOS for G Tukka Rask 3...acquire F John Kordic from MTL for F Russ Courtnall 4..re-acquire Wendal Clark and Schneider (becomes Karpotsev who then becomes McCabe ) to NYI give up Jonsson and 1st pick couldve been THORNTON ends up being LUONGO 5..acquire NOLAN from SJ, for BOYES/MCCAULEY/1st 03. that pick was 19th overall right after GETZLAF/RICHARDS get drafted 6..acquire Leetch from NYR for 1st 04/2nd 05, when they just gave up 1st/2nd/4th in 03 playoff run and already gave up 2nd in 04,,, LEETCH plays 30 games for leafs thats it 7..acquire KESSEL,from BOS 1st/2nd 10 1st 11....ends up costing leafs SEGUIN,, prefer seguin over hall, prefer seguin over kessel 8..acquire G TOSKALA 1 year after trading for raycroft, send 1st/2nd in 07 and 4th 09....again give up so many picks for toskala waste 9..leafs trade 1st/2nd 08 plus 2nd 09 to move up 2 spots to draft D LUKE SCHENN (NOW JVR).. few picks later, D MYERS, F EBERLE get drafted leafs cant draft anyways from 80-present there are 15 lists of top 10 worst picks/drafts/ufa signings LOL 10. trade KABERLE to BOSTON at time got 1st/2nd/colborne,, gave colborne away, the 1st/2nd picks havent played 1 game, again give up picks other teams use wisely,, when leafs receive picks cant draft other notiable bad trades... FICHAUD in 95 for HOGUE,,,,the POTVIN trade well berard got hurt, but couldve gotten more or better from other teams VCR/TB.........MODIN for CORY CROSS,,,,,,,giving up on SULLIVAN waivers.....yikes leafs stink
