10 days since my hip replacement. I developed a urinary tract infection as soon as I got home that made me quite sick, that combined with the pain and narcotics has made it really rough. Thank God for my patient. and compassionate nurse husband, Brian the saint, constantly running to get ice for my leg, helping me in and out of chairs and bed and keep track of all my pills. But tonight, my infection and my head are clearing up, my pain is less and I was tearing up circles with my walker around the house and even felt good enough go out and sit in my backyard. Needless to say, I overdid it and will be hurting again in the morning but I had to share my ray of hope and first feelings of joy I have had since my surgery with you guys! Hip Hip Horay!
