#100happydays It was a beautiful day in Gainesville and the tinge of fall is finally giving us a bit of coolness. Up early to the Hawthorne Trail for an 8+ miler and then off to the Butterfly Festival with Sid. We missed the butterfly release because we were hanging with the Carpet Python inside the museum. Sid conquered a fierce fear of snakes by letting the python hang around his neck. His first touch of snake which, like most people find out, is not slimy but pure muscle and heavy. Afterwards we went to Garlic and Ginger Korean Restaurant so he could have his Korean pancake -- he earned it. I think the only reason he consented to hold the snake was because it was named Heisenberg and as a physicist he thought that was an omen.
