11/06/2014 • Benjamin on Hotels AWESOME HOTEL!Let me just say off the bat - this was one of my BEST hotel experiences EVER! The hotel is on the fourth floor of a historic building. Theres no elevator, but the 98 steps up are not steep. Luciano (the owner) treats you like family. When you arrive, he not only makes sure that your spacious room is clean and to your liking, but he also recommends restaurants, shopping and the best way to get around Florence. All of his dinning and shopping recommendations are for non-touristy, authentic places. Some of my best dining experiences in Italy were because of his recommendations. I cant rave enough about this hotel, it literally felt like we were staying with family.
