11.15pm. Walked the dogs two by two. 11.55pm. Little snack in their crates. 12.00am. Big cuddles and lights out. 12.02am. Sienna starts to squeak. We ignore her - tough love and all that. 12.04pm. Squeak becomes full on howling. Decision - pander to the dog and make a rod for our own back or ignore her and she wakes up the mother-in-law...... 12.05pm. Sitting next to the crate on the floor reciting The Lords Prayer to soothe her. Not because Im the slightest bit religious but because its the only thing I can think of. 12.10pm. It seems I cant even remember that. So tired I got stuck somewhere after trespassing and temptation. 12.15am. Resorted to reading her a story from my Kindle. 12.25am. Sienna fast asleep. Turn off Kindle and slowly get up. Knee cracks very loudly followed by back. 12.26am. Sienna awake and squeaking. 1.32am. Dogs asleep, so I crawled to the door, over the dog gate and down the hall before standing up. 1.33am. Mission accomplished. Im in bed. So far, so good. Dogs all quiet Bugger. I need a wee.....
