11 years ago today, at 27 years young, Amy left us to become an angel. I still find it hard at times to put one foot in front of the other. I am internally broken. My heart has a hole, that can never be filled. She taught us to believe in Miracles, and that Things that once were important are just things, 9 1/2 after receiving the Gift of Life an emergency Liver Transplant. She lived her life to the fullest... She was one spunky little girl, that touched the hearts of everyone she met. I still hear her giggle and also hear her cry, I find pennies,( her way of letting me know she is still with me) I get in the car and the first song is one she once dedicate to me Angel with a broken wing, be Martina McBride or Because you loved me by Celine Dion Everyday I come across something from her Favorite movies, Somewhere over the Rainbow and The Lion King She truly loved to shop and she loved her pets and The Packers. Her Brother Billy Lewis, ( she always said He was the pretty one and she was the smart one) she loved, him more than he ever knew... I think of her Best Friends Cristina Marie, and Fawn Esser and Sheri Seybold Savitt often.Her Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and and Grandma and Grandpa. I am sure she has redecorated heaven a few times...and welcomed so many loved ones, I will miss My Amy, my Mini Me everyday for the rest of my life. I carry her in my heart.
