#12759 Taxes man, taxes... I hate them. I just landed a pretty good job which I will start after I graduate in December. It pays a 60k salary annually. So I decided to create a budget and see how much I can save for the future (I am big into investing and want to start now so I can have a comfortable retirement). I knew taxes were going to be costly, but I had no idea it would take close to 33%. That means 1/3 of the year I will be working for the government. I am thankful for my job and know there are people who would kill to be in my position. But I really do not think the government should be taking 33% of anyones earnings. I cant even imagine how much people who are making 6 figures are being taxed..
