13 women - Philly, San Fran, and Kansas City. 2 flights, a prop plane over the sea, and an hour boat ride later- we have arrived! Docked at our tiny, 20 acre island right after the sun set. Just south of the Yukon Peninsula, near the Honduras Bay in the Caribbean Sea - a stones throw from the Great Barrier Reef of Belize. Had a delicious dinner of fish, chicken, beans and rice, mashed potatoes, and bread pudding. Then laid on our stomachs on the palapa, watching dozens of spotted sting rays glide around in the clear night water. Its 76 with a warm breeze. Ready for an amazing week! My roomie is an OR RN from N KC hospital, we will get along just fine:) What I wouldnt give to teleport my friends and family here. I hope my posts warm you up and make your days a little more interesting this week!
