#14 David O. Russells American Hustle is a 2013 American crime comedy-drama film. Screenplay written by Russell and Eric Warren Singer. The movie shows the FBI ABSCAM operation of the late 1970s and early 1980s. It stars Christian Bale and Amy Adams as two con artists who are forced by an FBI agent to set up an elaborate sting operation on corrupt politicians, including the mayor of Camden, New Jersey (Jeremy Renner). Jennifer Lawrence plays the unpredictable wife of Bales character. Bale has done really extra-ordinary stuff with his body. From being in a total freaking look of a skinned insomnia patient in The Machinist to being Batman and then at last a fat con man. The movie got nominated for 10 Oscars but unfortunately not a single trophy came home. IMDb rating:- 7.5/10 Rate it.:- 8.9/10
