Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Minister of the newly-carved Telangana state, has denied terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a fascist. He had only termed the move as a fascist action as the Constitution needs to be amended to give special powers to the governor. * MNS chief Raj Thackeray has defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi, advising people to give him some time to perform, after receiving a massive mandate in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. An eminent jury shortlisted the entries from which Jan Dhan was selected. Final logo and tagline of the scheme will be announced soon, the MyGov website said. A technology-driven medium, MyGov provides people an opportunity to contribute towards good governance. * Taking a cue from PM’s exhortation to the corporate sector to give priority to building toilets in schools as part of the CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has pledged Rs 100 crore towards financing hygienic sanitation facilities for girl students across 10,000 schools. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Mod had said: There should be a toilet in all the schools of our country. A separate toilet for girls...it is only then our girls will not have to quit schools.
