Well that is what it’s like looking at the faces of these dogs, wanting to comfort them, wanting to give them an explanation as to how and why they landed here but you don’t have the answer. What’s worse is knowing that some of those faces will not see the light of day tomorrow, that tonight will be their last night on earth, that the cage they sit in, they sleep in tonight, will be the last place they will rest their head. How can we make sense of all of this? We cannot. What we can do is try and save as many as possible.
