187. I think I may have to rename Lynx. He is already getting suffixes to his name, as in Lynxie-pie, Lynxie-lou, Lynxiecle etc. What would suit him absolutely perfectly though, is Lynx-Lamb. Because thats what he is. Im a bit concerned that he may well be the first documented case of split personality in cats, as well as all the notes on his paralysis, rehab, amputation, recovery etc. This morning, after breakfast, he put quite a lot of effort into adorning my hand and arm with many many bloody little tooth and claw marks. The ears were flattened, he managed quite a respectable hiss or two, all the minute little fangs were on display.... About half an hour later, when I was in the bath, there were pitiful little pick me up calls, so I did just that, and put him on the upper chest area that stays relatively dry. He purred, very loudly and very long. He gave me lots of little kitten-kisses all over my chin and nose and mouth. He tucked his little face into my neck and purred even louder. And then he made himself comfortable, with his hindquarters kind of tucked into my cleavage, the front bits across my chest, and the little head snuggled into my armpit. And there he dozed... a few quiet moments as he slept completely, then a quiet purr, and then a really loud purr as he woke up, snuggled a bit more, and went fully back to sleep......psycho kitty :-) For his progress report today - he can now escape from the bedroom. Ive been wedging a plank across the doorway to keep him there. The plank is a raw pine sheet about 8 inches high. This morning, he worked out that with serious stretching and clawing from all three legs, he can get up and over, albeit with a bit of a face-plant on landing. I reckon that in around a week or so, hell have worked out how to climb the bed-mountain, and Ill have a small bitey-purry thing sleeping around my neck like a furry-boa. #100happydays
