19 Kids and Counting. Watching Jill Dougers wedding. For being such a devoted religious family it was pretty and tasteful but possibly one of the least reverent weddings ever. There were thousands of people in attendance, tons of planning and who knows how much money spent for what was basically a 10 minute ceremony. They were more concerned with what everyone was going to wear, the reception and pictures than the actual reverence of the wedding. They came in, there was a piano piece, the minister said a few words, they exchanged vows and rings and it was over. Why not just go to a justice of the peace?
