1ST ANNUAL JOE EARLE MEMORIAL WASHER TOSS TOURNAMENT Date: Sunday, September 1st Time: 9am to 7pm Location: North End Recreation Centre Cost: $20 per team due at time of registration Dance: 9pm to 1am at North End Recreation Centre Cost: $5 per person at the door • Please register by August 28th (players must be 19 or over) (Forms available at Big Al’s, Funtopia or from Vernon Earle or Trent Wilson) • Spots are available for the first 64 teams of 2 to register with payment • The tournament will run rain or shine Format: • 4 divisions with 16 teams in each division. • Each round is best 3 out of 5 with the losing team being eliminated from the tournament. • Division Prize: Winning team of each division wins $50 and plays in the championship Championship: • Each round is best 3 out of 5 with the losing team being eliminated from the championship. • Championship Prize: Winning team of championship wins $200 This tournament will be a fundraiser for the Joe Earle Memorial Victoria Day Road Races which has offered the public a free race day for 50 years, with races for various age groups from 4 and under to men’s and woman’s open 5 mile.
