1st Monthly Perth TPP Citizen Alliance Meeting – ON THE STEPS IN FRONT OF WA STATE LIBRARY Let’s use the March-in-March momentum and (after a short R&R) let’s get together and discuss ideas around: - How to best spread information about the dangers of the TPP / ISDS throughout Perth & WA; - What is the main message we like to get out OR (how) do we break down the package; and - Which format of action to tackle (first). Three options spring to my mind: a) Large(r) scale information/ awareness events. Speeches, marches, flyer distribution (city?) OR b) Grassroots action – using aftinet’s DIY package for home/community / work-place info events. bb) And/or coordinate events with existing ‘movements’ such as the No Fracking, GMO, MiM, health orgs, other(?) to have a regular TPP presence at their events. OR c) Online campaigning – petitioning. Other? PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT with anyone you think might be interested. __________________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: this is NOT a GENERAL INFORMATION SESSION, but a get-together nutting out how to get such general info events off the ground. However, you don’t have to be a TPP content expert to attend this. At all. If you have ideas how to best spread the message – come along.
