2 died, 8 injured in road accidents: Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Reporter Malik Nisar: Srinagar, June 29: Two persons died while eight others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A tanker driver was who was injured in a road accident on 26th this month in Qazigund, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar. A motorcycle (JK03C-1606) driven by Aamir Ahmad Sofi son of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Padgampora, Awantipora hit and injured a pedestrian Jalal-ud-din Dar son of Mohammad Ismail Dar resident of Goori Kadal, Awantipora on National Highway near Kharmod, Awantipora. The motorcyclist also got injured in this accident. Both the injured were shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment where Jalal-ud-din succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, a vehicle (JK04C-9661) driven by Zulfkar Ahmad Para son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Batapora Khag hit and injured a 07 year old boy Yawar Ahmad Sheikh son of Noor Mohammad Sheikh resident of Pethzonigam at Bozanigam, Budgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. In another accident, an Innova vehicle ( JK01L-0395) hit and injured a pedestrian Hajira wife of Abdul Ahad Khatana resident of Aawoora, Pahalgam near Bus Stand, Pahalgam. In another road accident, a motor cycle driven by Haroon Ahmad Bhat son of Bashir Ahamd resident of Khairbugh Ashmuqam skidded off the road at Ganesh Pora, Ashmuqam. The motorcyclist was injured and was shifted to hospital for treatment. In another accident, a motorcycle driven by Shakeel Ahmad Akhoon son of Jameel Akhoon resident of Sonarwani turned turtle at Mangipora, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and two pillon mates. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Bandipora for treatment. Meanwhile, a vehicle coming from Doodh Pathri to Khansahib skidded off the road near Paress Madan, Khansahib. Mohammad Yousuf Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Namblahal who was boarding the vehicle got injured.
