2003 16.3 hh warhorse ottb gelding Chase the Blaze. Chase is a very special boy looking for a new home due to no fault of his own. He has been let down and lightly restarted. Would be best suited to a non jumping home who can keep him in a consistent work program. Chase gets bored easily and does not appreciate being a pasture puff. He would make a great dressage, HUS, western pleasure, or trail prospect. He is very quiet under saddle and not at all spooky. Chase can be pushy on the ground and can also occasionally be nippy and grumpy in his stall so i would recommend an experienced handler. Chase is barefoot and sound but does have an old cold bow and osselets. The osseslets have caused some lack of flexion in his fetlocks. These issues do not seem to bother him in anyway but we have decided not to jump him. Chase is a very cool horse with lots of personality. He is only being rehomed due to financial issues and time constraints. He is in absolutely no danger but i do not feel he is getting the attention he deserves so i would like to find him a new home asap. Looking for a permanent /long term home.
