2013 LA scores Sir Echo Farm Looking over our LA day we are reminded of our choice to move some of our top does to new herds and that has brought us to some of our younger stock. The scores are a good reflection of our continued efforts to strive for consistency thru out the age groups and somewhat of a snap shot of our 3 yr project of the incorporation of a new set of genetics, TR Winchester, into our herd . Additionally in the last 3 years we have focused on combining some of our best mammary strengths of our own bucks. With this years doe kid crop of 12, we have continued the incorporation of those same genetics with a Winchester/Brickers son we used on many of our does as well as Winchester via AI giving us three daughters out of two of our top does There were many hard decisions this year and many of the best mammaries left in an effort to continue to contribute to the overall strength, balance from front to rear, and general appearance we love in our Obies. We look forward to seeing some of those does in the show ring in the future! We think what we ended up moving forward with incorporates some of our stand out does and their offspring, who have done very well over the years in both consistency and achievement in the ADGA Performance Programs.
