2014. Wow - what a whirlwind year. So many exceptional moments and yes, even a few unpleasant ones that frankly Im just choosing to forget. Looking back it would be difficult to find a singular moment that compares to the day I finally popped the question and asked Patrick Cole to marry me in St. Thomas aboard Disney Cruise Line. His reaction, his response and the expression on his face plays repeatedly in my mind. They say that absence truly does make the heart grow fonder and I can say with absolute certainty this is true, because having been apart from Patrick has proven this to me. Im the luckiest guy in the world and cant wait to marry him. Im very blessed and I take nothing for grated. Im so grateful and appreciative for everything and to everyone who has taken this year long journey with me. This is not a slight to anyone or any of the other incredible things that happened to me. Ive so many things to be thankful for, a few loving family members, my Moms health, supportive friends (both old and new), a surprise promotion, an awesome boss and one fantastic team of co-workers in NY and LA who Im really lucky to work alongside each and everyday -- they are the absolute best, we bought our first car, I watched one of my baby brothers get married, Crumbs closed and then reopened, spent treasured time with some of my Swedish family, met Pitbull with Carrie, saw Ramin Karimloo in Les Misérables Broadway for my birthday, conquered my fear (well sort of) of roller coasters by riding on one - and in the dark nonetheless, spent a few glorious days in Toronto, Ontario and sailed the Caribbean with Carrie Gardner and Patrick, making lots of new friends. All the weekend road trips with Mike Gomez and Carrie. But most importantly my Rite Aid Wellness+ discount carries over and through 2015. Woo hoo! Its already the start to an awesome year. Bring it on.....
