2015: BUSY WEEK AHEAD: Princewill addresses Diasporans in London, picks his Deputy from Ogoni, finally set to launch his door to door campaign. youtu.be/o_B99CdLfYs Text from his speech to the press at the departure wing of the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos The transition from 2014 into 2015 has been a very busy one. From the drama in the Rivers State PDP to my emergence as the Labour Party candidate; I can see now that my footsteps were directed and ordered by the Lord who I have always served. Now people truly have a choice. APC vs PDP vs Rivers people. There can only be one outcome. Over the past week; real, true and very committed volunteers have come out to indicate their interest in supporting not just me, but their state and also to offer support to the eradication of Oppression, Intimidation and Deceit in our polity. The recruitment/training exercise itself was initiated and executed by professional volunteers, who although not from Rivers State, have seen my genuine love for the State and believe in the future of a well run unit. The exercise has so far been a huge success, with over 3000 people signing up within three days in the three senatorial districts of the state. This number may not be impressive when compared to the over 2 million registered voters; but for my team and I, its very encouraging as no financial incentive was used to lure people out at such short notice. The sooner we change our politics, the sooner we change our outcome. I must say I am humbled and very grateful. This number added to the almost 10,000 volunteers weve already recruited over the years will be the core of our door to door team. Please pray for us. In the coming days, a lot will unfold; Ill announce my campaign team and of course our choice for the Deputy Governorship slot for my party. An impressive Rivers politician of proud Ogoni extraction, he came recommended to me by a cross section of Ogoni stakeholders. As one of their own and a seasoned grass rooter, I have no doubt, lovers of Rivers state will be impressed by him. This will usher in the formal kick-off of my campaign which will be issue based and is set to change the face of Rivers State politics for good. Through all this, my family has been solidly behind me, supporting me with love and prayers. This has been the source of not only my inspiration but has provided me huge encouragement. On Monday the 12th of January, Nigerians in Diaspora, who love Rivers State will be holding a reception for me in London. At the same time, the world famous Hollywood Weekly, will be there profiling me for our brothers, sisters and allies in the US. Another voluntary gesture showing this state is of interest to more than just the people of Rivers state and Nigeria. I will take out a couple of days to attend to all these; including seeing my family, whom I have not seen for eight long months. God bless them. Once i return, we will hit the ground running. I may not have as much money or as many godfathers as the others but I believe God the father and my love for the people (even before there were elections) will stand me in good stead. Rivers State needs someone with a good history! Someone who can survive outside politics! Someone who can bring it peace. I am here! I will create Jobs for the teeming unemployed. I will bring Dubai to Africa. I will secure our lands and creeks and I will make Housing and Transport not only affordable but accessible. This campaign will afford me the opportunity to give details but feel free to visit tonyeprincewill and see how. Look at my track record and ask again; Who can? Who Will? The truth is, with your help, the answer is the Prince Will. Patriotism is slowly giving way to partisanship. Black has become white and the individual greater than the community. Not in our day. Not in our time. If only the people can form a team. Princewill 2015
