In the realm of Modern nihilism, where words are words and phenomena are illusions, the agreement to disagree, leads to you have your opinions, I have mine and discourse is nothing but a comparison of personal tastes. Nobody is hurt. No one is exposed as an idiot, or at least, of having poor judgment. Nobody has to change his mind. Its all cool. Theres no survival of the fittest here. No superior/inferior. No pressing need. Nothing is at stake. Were just chewing some mental bubble-gum and blowing bubbles with hot air. The discourse doesnt matter because the common ground is already a given - its considered self-evident. The important stuff is taken care of. All thats left to do is pass the time, have some fun. Why so serious? Only a monster, an evil spirit, a sick mind, would challenge this funky mood. Why not have fun, when nothing matters, and the important stuff has been decided? Nothing is that bad. Nothing is threatening. Nothing is in decline. Just relax, man; sit back and enjoy. Have a drink, shoot the shit, make a joke...chill dude. Youve got your views and Ive got mine. Nobody needs to be embarrassed. We all win, if we respect one another, and love each other. Modern cynicism? No ideals; no principles, no worries, no cares. Who cares? Caring makes a man old before his time. The only thing to take care of is gratifying your basic needs...indulging in some pleasure. The Modern mind only cares about numero uno. Cynicism is how it finds flaws in everything that risks agitating it out of its lethargy; its easy complacency; its adolescent play. Its all a game - it dont mean nothing. Thinking? Critique? Thats for bitter losers - sorry whiners. Nothing to think about but how to get food on the table, and pussy on your dick. Thinking is about hustling...getting by, using words to seduce and influence - its about building an image and selling it to chumps. Why fight?
