22 March, 2014 - Bringing joy to change. I received a big lesson this week. It was all about learning to embrace the unpredictable and unknown gracefully - and it is the last word that matters the most here, for me. I find that my life is increasingly bringing many, many sudden changes. Whatever seems a given is often taken away and replaced with something else - yeah, ok, Ill admit that if I care to compare, its often with something better. Its the taking away of the given that still remains uncomfortable at times - yeah, ok, a LOT of the times. I do feel I am being tested and taught what I need to learn in preparation of what is to come next - maybe the reality of a future that can never be secure, predicted or controlled. And I so love to feel ready, and realise today that this sense of readiness is merely the illusion I have created in the past, when my old persona needed a boost in confidence. So, the lesson this week was a somewhat brutal reminder that, in order to embrace the unknown and the changes that are likely to pepper my experience of the week to come, I can only nurture joy and openness in me. And thats exactly what I am going to do today. Bringing joy to change.
