24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00 AM 31 October 2014 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 1,430 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar (12.7ºN, 137.8ºE). Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon. Forecast: The regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, CARAGA, Davao and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Cagayan valley, Cordillera and Ilocos region will exprience cloudy skies with light rains. Metro manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas.
