24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00AM 17 September 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 am today, the center of Tropical Depression “Odette” was estimated based on all available data at 830 km East of Tuguegarao City (17.9ºN,130.7ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph. It is forecast to move West at 7 kph. Southwest monsoon affecting southern Luzon and Visayas. FORECAST: Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to south with slight to moderate seas.
