24 days into 30 days of prayer for the crisis of terrorism in the Middle East, and I have to say that Im sorry for lack of posting. This may be the most difficult and saddest thing I have ever committed to pray for. Every time I start to pray, the thought of innocent people dying, children bring ripped away from their parents, and all of the hate so many people have for another human being just because of skin color and religious affiliation makes me feel sick and deeply grieved. Many times I have been unable to pray with words but just tears - asking God to fix this mess and help me to be a help and not make it any worse. Lord have mercy - intervene in this broken world. Give your children courage to walk in the light as you are in the light. Amen.
