#240 Admin post this..I saw it in IIT confessions. I am a second year student.A lot of my friends ask me: whats the most valueable lesson that u have learnt so far? Here is the answer: 1) Everyone is struggling.Nobody is blissfully happy. Everyone is fighting their own demons,everyone has their own problems. And the happiest people are the ones who have learnt to make peace with their problems. 2)How to handle loneliness. Lets face it: all of us are alone in this world. Even our parents wont be there for us after a certain age. Friends will be there for u, but only to the extent of sympathizing with u in your difficult times. U have to face all your problems,heartbreaks,failures and disappointments alone.No one cares.No one has the time to spare a thought for you or your troubles. 3)If you want to be successful,you have to struggle a lot.I mean,a LOT.No matter how good or intelligent you are,there will be people better than you.The only way to compete with them,and ultimately get ahead of them,is to work hard.There are no shortcuts to success.If you dream big,and if you want your dreams to come true,you have to be prepared for a long,hard slog.
