26 Years ago I left home at 16 years old to join the Army. I chose to join the Infantry and decided that the 1st Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders was going to be my Regiment. At the end of 1994 I left the Army to become a civilian in Germany. The 71/2 years I spent in the Argylls have made me the man I am today, I would like to thank all the guys I knew whilst in the Army, you all had your part to play in making me a better person. Thanks to Facebook it has been possible over the last few years to make and keep contact with many old friends, the Relationships built in those days will last a lifetime, sadly the Regiment will not. Its a sad day today as the Final Parade took place in Stirling, but keep in mind, we are a huge family of Argylls, and we always will be. Ne Obliviscaris, Sans Peur
