28! Yes, 28 is how many riders we were this morning. Not sure about everyone else, but I really enjoyed the ride. - Thanks Francois for working out the route and for leading the ride. - Thanks Willem & Christie for assisting with sweeping duties, as per our ride promise, no-one got left behind and the group waited for one another. - We had 2 punctures, one took 3mins to fix and the other 30secs ... min of meer :-) and no other mechanicals. - One fall after a tricky rut caught Zanders back wheel. Think that knee is going to burn a bit under the shower but hell be good to go. Tough young man. - Some hardly broke a sweat while some pushed the boundaries of their fitness. Well done to everyone. - After a properly constituted Board Meeting afterwards there was consensus to do this again the next few Saturdays. Next week Big Red Barn, Parkview, Rosemary Hill. The riding approach will remain the same. - It would be good to hear your feedback but please no requests for post ride freshly baked carrot cake cupcakes or FHM girls bike washes. - No MTB ride is complete without pics, I will post a few shortly, if you didnt get any ... take two next time.
