28 male patient presented with chronic severely painful stiff right knee and severe shortening of the right lower limb. history of RTA about 2 years ago, that resulted in comminuted fracture distal femur, patella and tibia, and was treated by intramedullary fixation. O/E; about 8 cm shortening, extensor lag of the right knee about 20 degrees with minimal range of motion about 10 degrees. x-ray showed non-union of the tibia, absent anterolateral cortex of the distal femur. can we help?
