2nd Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters in 2014 highlighting Thai Boxing. Under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the 2nd Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 8:00 p.m. to midnight at the Louis II Stadium, in Salle Gaston Medecin. An event presented by Baroness Cecile de Massy, Claude Pouget, and the International Academy of Self-Defense and Combat Sports of Monaco, under the auspices of the Monegasque Federation of Fighting Sports and Associated Disciplines. The evening showcasing Thai Boxing, will be composed of a unique set of fighters of different nationalities, the best of which will compete for the title of world champion awarded under the auspices of the World Muaythai Council. Thai Boxing is a renowned discipline among foot and fists combat sports. It is also a sport based on strong tradition as an integral part of the culture of Thailand. This spectacular discipline is known for its effectiveness. It is governed by sporting rules and strict ethical values, such as respect between the athletes. This event, which follows the success of the 1st Monte-Carlo Fighting Masters, which was broadcast on the Canal+—a world première for a sports hall in the Louis II Stadium: 8 fights for 8 world kickboxing championship and K1 Rules, which brought together some of the best athletes from around the world (Russia, Italy, Netherlands, and United States, among others).
