4th August 2014, Paris, France Past yesterday, 2nd August in Paris was action against Kiev junta with with an exhibition of photographs of the events in the Novorossia. On Saturday 2 August, despite the high season of holidays, the French capital citizens of different nationalities gathered again on the Square of Republic in Paris to express their solidarity with the people of the South-East of Ukraine. It was the fifth similar event for the last month and about 200 persons took part in each of them. For this time constant participants have managed to get to know each other and now they meet as good old friends to stand up for a right cause. One of the main goals of these meetings is breaking through the information blockade and drawing attention of the international community to what is going on in Donbass, which is actually a war against the authorities own people resulting in, first of all, peaceful civilians suffering. To reach this goal there were put up some stands on which there were exhibited photos showing civilian casualties and consequences of shelling Donbass cities and towns.
