We met Izzy McHale in Paws For Murder, as she opened up Trendy Tails Pet Boutique in the charming town of Merryville, Minnesota. She has a dog, Packer; and a cat, Jinx. Her best friend, Rena, does the baking for the shop, and caters for all the pet partys. Rena has a ferret, Val. Izzys friend, Ingrid, is marrying her love, Harvey, at Trendy Tails, when the wedding is interrupted by a body tumbling down the stairs! Worse, Izzys Aunt Dolly is standing at the top of the stairs holding the murder weapon. The victim is the upstairs renter, Daniel Colona, a quiet, loner type of guy. Izzy and her friends need to find out who Daniel was, and what he was really doing in Merryville that made someone kill him! Can they solve the murder and clear Aunt Dollys name in time for the pupptials (dog wedding) taking place, PLUS, get Ingrid and Harvey through their I Dos? Almost everyone has secrets. Author, Annie Knox, is a master at deceiving readers into believing theyve solved the mystery, only to discover their guess is totally wrong. The mystery is excellent! Theres humor and romance.
