5 months, almost to the day, after buying our new house in Columbus, and moving our family to Ohio, our house will be once again back on the market (as of tonight), and our family will be moving to Des Moines, Iowa. For a person who doesnt particularly enjoy change... 2013 has been a doozy!!! Once again we are relocating to an area we know nothing about...so all of you with Iowa/Des Moines connections...I need recommendations on suburbs, neighborhoods, schools (public and private), Drs...EVERYTHING!!! Dave will be working on the west side of town if that matters?! We are truly hoping and praying that our house in Ohio sells quickly, and that we will be in our new home before Christmas. I want to do all that I can to minimize our time apart, as we have already spent FAR too much time away from Dave this year as it is!!! After recovering from the initial shock and panic over the situation (this came out of NO where a week ago, and Dave leaves Monday, so things are happening quickly!!!) I have to say I am bursting with pride and happiness for Dave, as this is a really big accomplishment, something I never doubted he was capable of!! Thankfully the kids are handling all of this so much better than expected!! I feel great peace that we are walking the path God has chosen for us...at least in the light of day when the millions of details dont threaten to take me down! I have NO idea why a 6 month pit stop in Columbus was necessary, but I look forward to seeing what God has in store for us as we continue on this adventure we like to call our life right now!!!!
