521,000 citizens of neighboring Kentucky got affordable healthcare - TopicsExpress

521,000 citizens of neighboring Kentucky got affordable healthcare in the past year because their Democrat governor led the charge to expand Medicaid and participate in the Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, North Carolinas republican governor and his legislative henchmen refused to expand Medicaid and participate in the Affordable Care Act, so health insurance became more expensive for most of us as Blue Cross/Blue Shield and United Health Care took advantage of North Carolinas health care dilema to increase their profits. My insurance went up. Did yours? Also, as a foster parent of two wonderful children I have experienced first hand what republican cuts to Medicaid are doing to children in our state. More and more doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists have stopped taking Medicaid patients. I have had to find new doctors for both children. The State has been hesitant to maintain basic health services for our citizens and horribly slow in paying doctors who still treat Medicaid patients. In addition, the Dishonorables in Raleigh have led the assault on Women in our state. I remain content to let God decide what are and are not family values and at what point it is ok to hurt women, children and sick people. But I will go to my grave working to undo the damage done to our state by the North Carolina republican Party. We can make giant strides repairing our state on NOV 4TH THIS YEAR. VOTE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OUT, FROM THE COURTHOUSE TO THE STATE HOUSE AND SENATE. We are better than this and rank and file republicans need to research what has happened and learn just how effectively republican leaders have lied to them and used them. Time is short. Help stop the madness. Vote them out!
